PROSECCO
Prosecco is an Italian white wine, produced in spumante, frizzante and tranquillo variants, depending on the degree of perlage. It is made from the glera grape, a vine variety, formerly known as prosecco, originally from the Veneto region of Italy. Only two regions are entitled to the controlled designation of origin: the towns of Valdobbiadene and Conegliano. Wines from other parts of the Veneto are classified with a typical geographical indication.
