Following the acquisition of Château des Laurets in 2003, Baron Benjamin de Rothschild wanted to unlock the fabulous potential of this property through investments in facilities and greater attention to all winemaking practices.
Thanks to their efforts, since the 2004 harvest, in the 90 hectares of vineyard that the property comprises, only 4 hectares have been selected from the best Merlot plots to produce the quintessence of the property.
A cuvée of excellence was born under the name: "LAURETS - BARON EDMOND DE ROTHSCHILD".
